  • Ucn3 has potent cardioprotective effects in the murine heart and its minimal impact on the hypothalamic stress axis. [1]
  • Ucn3 is expressed in various tissues including brain, pituitary, heart, kidney, pancreatic ß-cells, and gastrointestinal tract. [2]
  • Binds with high affinity to CRF receptors 2-alpha and 2-beta. [3]
  • Suppresses food intake, delays gastric emptying and decreases heat-induced edema. [3]
