General information

  • Although thymosin beta-4 was originally isolated from preparations of calf thymus fraction 5, Northern blot analysis showed that the thymosin beta-4 gene was also highly expressed in B lymphocytes, macrophages, granulocytes, and T lymphocytes. [1]
