Details for receptor: IL-10R-alpha

EndoNet ID: ENR00619

To link to the content of EndoNet use the EndoNet ID that is given on the detail pages in the format ENX0000, where X is a place holder for the type of the component (e. g. R for receptor or C for anatomical structure).
As URL for the linking append this ID to the detail page for this type of component.
For an hormone that would be:

http://endonet.bioinf.med.uni-goettingen.de/hormone/ENH00000

It is also possible to use the search of EndoNet to link to the right detail page. The URL should look like

http://endonet.bioinf.med.uni-goettingen.de/search/ENC00000
If the search pattern is unambigious the user is directed to the corresponding detail page.

Synonyms

  • IL-10R1
  • CDw210a antigen
  • IL-10R-A
  • interleukin-10 receptor alpha chain
  • IL-10R-alpha

General information

  • Spleen, thymus, and PBMC, weak expression in pancreas, skeletal muscle, brain, heart, and kidney. Placenta, lung, and liver showed intermediate levels. Monocytes, B-cells, large granular lymphocytes, and T-cells express high levels. [1]

Binding hormones

  • IL-10
    • Receptor for IL10; binds IL10 with a high affinity. [1]

Anatomical structures with this receptor

  • spleen

  • thymus

  • pancreas

  • skeleton_muscle

  • brain

  • heart

  • kidney

  • placenta

  • lung

  • monocyte

    Influences

    • negative IL-12
      • In LPS-stimulated whole blood and purified monocytes, IL-12(p70) and IL-12B(p40) production are enhanced by IFN-gamma and inhibited by IL-10 and IL-4. [2]
      • IL-10 inhibited p70 completely, and p40 about 10-fold. [2]
    • negative IL-12B
      • IL-10 inhibited IL-12(p70) completely, and IL-12B(p40) about 10-fold. [2]
    • negative IL-12A
      • IL-10 inhibited both IL-12A(p35) and IL-12B(p40) mRNA expression. [2]
      • IL-10 inhibited p35 stronger than p40. [2]
    • negative interleukin 6
      • IL-10 inhibited IL-6 production in LPS-stimulated monocytes. [2]
  • T-lymphocyte

  • neutrophil_granulocyte

    Influences

    • negative IL-8
      • IL-10 blocked the late phase of LTA-mediated neutrophil IL-8 synthesis, whereas the early phase (i.e., 8 hrs after stimulation with LTA) of IL-8 synthesis was insensitive to the anti-inflammatory cytokine. [3]
  • B-lymphocyte
