Details for receptor: CCR1

EndoNet ID: ENR00685

To link to the content of EndoNet use the EndoNet ID that is given on the detail pages in the format ENX0000, where X is a place holder for the type of the component (e. g. R for receptor or C for anatomical structure).
As URL for the linking append this ID to the detail page for this type of component.
For an hormone that would be:

http://endonet.bioinf.med.uni-goettingen.de/hormone/ENH00000

It is also possible to use the search of EndoNet to link to the right detail page. The URL should look like

http://endonet.bioinf.med.uni-goettingen.de/search/ENC00000
If the search pattern is unambigious the user is directed to the corresponding detail page.

Synonyms

  • CCR1
  • C-C chemokine receptor type 1
  • CC-CKR-1
  • macrophage inflammatory protein 1-alpha receptor
  • MIP-1alpha-R
  • RANTES-R
  • HM145
  • LD78 receptor
  • CD191 antigen

General information

  • Monocytes express an array of inflammatory chemokine receptors, including CCR1, CCR2, CCR5 and the interleukin (IL)-8 (also called CXCL85) receptors CXCR1 and CXCR2. [1]
  • Binds to MIP-1-alpha, MIP-1-delta, RANTES, and MCP-3 and, less efficiently, to MIP-1-beta or MCP-1. [2]

Binding hormones

  • MIP-1 delta
  • MPIF-1
  • MCP-3
  • MIP-1 beta
  • RANTES
  • MIP-1 alpha
  • HCC-1
    • Acts via receptors that also recognize MIP-1 alpha. [2]
    • Is a ligand for CCR1, CCR3 and CCR5. [3]
    • HCC-1 is active on monocytes, and our data suggest that CCR1 is the main receptor involved in the functional response of these cells [3]
