General information

  • The membrane receptors integrins alpha V recognize the sequence R-G-D in a wide array of ligands, and are therefor receptors for vitronectin, cytotactin, fibronectin, fibrinogen, laminin, matrix metalloproteinase-2, osteopontin, osteomodulin, prothrombin, thrombospondin and von Willebrand factor.
